South East Asia Operations
Manager, Business Development
(Based in Malaysia)
Responsibilties
Prepare business plans for Malaysia operations and identify suitable sub-markets for expansion within Malaysia operations
Identify viable development and acquisition projects in the identified sub markets for expansion of Malaysia operations
Carry out feasibility of the identified developments and acquisitions in accordance with established internal key development/acquisition parameters
Design suitable corporate and financial structures for proposed developments and acquisitions
Actively assist in negotiations and closure of identified developments and acquisitions upon approval of management
Prepare presentations and approval papers of proposed developments and acquisitions for all internal management approvals including Board papers
Develop professional relationships with Local State Statutory Bodies and Developers in targeted markets to identify potential development and acquisition opportunities
Participate and network actively in Conferences and Events related to the Real Estate Sector
Provide monthly reports on progress of opportunities for development and acquisition to managment

Prerequisites

MBA/ Degree with a major in Finance preferred
At least 6 years of relevant experience with strong technical background and business network
Ability to generate and evaluate deals in accordance with the Company’s expected financial returns
Ability to work with both in house experts as well as external legal and financial consultants in structuring the deals generated to a successful conclusion
Strong understanding of financial matters
Must be a team player with good leadership qualities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
